Jim + I have been hearing about the Sedona Pink Jeep tours for what seems like forever from friends and neighbors returning from Arizona trips. Despite hearing from our innkeeper that they may be "too bumpy" (lol) and that we may want to go with an SUV tour, we forged ahead with our "Pink" tour...and boy are we glad we did!
Definitely one of the highlights of our trip!
Jim got to ride shotgun with our tour guide (who was fabulous) and loved it... brought back memories for Jim who had and loved) a Jeep Wrangler way back when.

We had an absolutely perfect weather day....about 65 degrees + sunny and at 3pm...perfect lighting for pictures!
We drove up and up and up...right onto the Sedona Red Rocks. A couple of times we parked on top of the rock formations so we could get out and see the landscape and take photos.
It seems cliche to keep saying breathtaking and amazing..but it is all that + more.

We met some nice people who accompanied us on the tours...we got to know them well, as we frequently bumped into each other as we all got jostled during the rougher spots and would end up in eachothers laps...lol
One of the families that rode with us had 2 adorable teenage daughters...one of whom who took lots of pictures for us!
Real live honest to goodness Prickly Pear Cactus! The same cactus we had in our marguerita a few days earlier ;o)
We kept going up and up and up...the only thing that worried me tho was the fact that I knew we had to go DOWN at some point....
It was sometimes hard to tell just how steep a trail we were driving on, until you watched the jeep that was following us...gulp.
We were practically hanging upside down going down this trail...if we didn't have our seatbelts on, we would have been rolling down the trail..ha ha

Gotta Love Pink Jeep!! We took the Broken Arrow tour in April and loved it. I wish we had taken the Broken Arrow Combo Tour because the trip went too quickly!!
