National Honor Society Girl!

This beautiful girl of mine was inducted into the NHS tonight! Jim, Dabi, Joe and I witnessed a wonderful ceremony at EHS..and we are so proud of not only our daughter, but all of her wonderful friends who joined her tonight.EHS principal kicked off the ceremony...

In her introduction, Taylor was quoted as saying that she owed her successes and moral development "to her parents and her grandmother" who have supported her through all her achievements...Dabi loved that part :)

Lappy Day at Bigelow

Thought I would post some pictures from our fun Finnish Lapphund picnic at Bigelow Hollow State Park yesterday...we had a gorgeous representation of Lappies...beautiful colors and beautiful smiles to go with their very unique personalities.

Kayaking at Spec

This is the time of year that I notice that my camera is not used too much other than when we are outside...so here are a couple of pictures of our day yesterday out on the water...this time on Spec Pond....we had a very relaxing day sitting on the dock and out on the pond.

Kayaking the Willimantic River

Want to try to be a better blogger and post some pics a little more often than I have in the last month....these are from a couple days ago when Jim and I kayaked the Willimantic River with Bruce and Karen...it was a GORGEOUS morning..sunny, crisp, a little breeze...and best of all, calm water. We saw lots of birds, a mama and papa swan and their little brood, and a train going by...does it get any better than that?
