The heirloom wedding gown was pressed and hung, waiting for the bride...
Bridesmaids helped choose just the right necklace.....
Hair was put into updo's...
Faces were enhanced....
Bridesmaids watched...and giggled.....
The bride was pampered.....
Little girls were excited....
Young women were thrilled....
Beauties emerged.....
Wedding gowns were buttoned up--one loop at a time....
It took quite a while...and brought me back to the exact day this was happening to me...almost 31 years ago.
Brides were radiant..
Bridesmaids were in awe....
We were giddy with excitement....
Brides were getting a bit nervous...
but were smiling in anticipation.
Princess shoes were helped on those lovely feet....
It was time to go...
We crowded into the elevator for the trip down to the lobby and into the waiting cars...
And with auntie and sister's help....
The bride and her gown were carefully arranged just so into the car...
Into the loving hands of a smiling uncle.
