I feel so priviliged to be able to participate (in my own small way=1vote-1voice) in an extremely historic event in the USA today. No matter the outcome, this election has pulverized voter apathy...one of the most dangerous emotions in a free democracy. I am headed out with my mother (who also feels the excitement and is one of those many undecided electors right up to this moment!) in a few hours to cast our ballots. Planning on bringing my camera to record this moment in history. Jim tried to vote before work but the lines stretched around the building...a never seen event. He will have to face even longer lines after work tonight, but the long wait is also a wonderful sign in our country..don't you agree?
