Havin' fun in Dallas, y'all!/Part deux

Well, I arrived home today...after getting up at 4:15 (ugh) and after
THREE MORE TAKE-OFFS AND LANDINGS!
It was so very nice to land on firm ground back at home..but I miss my girl already :)
So so so nice just to hang out together :) But....I think maybe another visit is in the works for later in June..once I get over the stress of airplane travel {shudder}

So I wanted to a few more pics about the rest of the weekend....
You know...just hangin' out pictures!Dan making his famous Blue Cheese Buffalo Burgers....mmmmmmAfter dinner we walked to Yogalicious...an incredible self-serve frozen yogurt restaurant with an ubelievable amout of toppings...so goooood.

Havin' fun in Dallas, y'all!

Landed here in Dallas on Thursday evening, where this lovely girl picked me up from the airport......my beautiful daughter, Lyndsay, whom I have not seen in over FOUR MONTHS!

It was SO nice to be able to give her a real, in-person hug :)

We headed to Central Market to pick up groceries for dinner..a Whole Foods kind of place, but get this: even better than WFoods!

Then home to the apartment.........she and Dan live on this beautiful tree-lined street just steps away from cool restaurants and shops.

Present time....kitchen stuff and homemade granola!

Since Dan was working, Lyndsay and I made some delicious pasta w/a peanut/tahini/ginger sauce...mmm-mmmm.

On Friday, while Dan and Lyndsay were at work...I cleaned up a little for them...so much fun to clean SOMEONE ELSE's house, isn't it???

The next day (Sat) we headed out to the Dallas Arboretum..this absolute gorgeous park full of beautiful blooms....it was breathtaking...lots of photo ops...
Since our feet were sore from all that strolling...lol...we
indulged in pedicures...don't our toes look cute???For dinner, Lyndsay made a TO-DIE-FOR pizza for us..poor Dan was working late again..then we watched a great movie...Rachel gets Married...Anne Hathaway was awesome in it.When Dan got home, Lyndsay made us all lowfat Chocolate Peanut Butter milkshakes...was this a great day or what???
