Gettin' Ready: Day 50!

Lots to get ready...lots of laundry...lots of shopping to stock up on "healthy" food, as there is a dearth of said in coastal NC. 6 more days!

Alec's Bar Mitzvah: Day 49

Jim and I and Taylor went to a beautiful ceremony today...Alec L's Bar Mitzvah...an amazing 13 yr old boy who studied for years to learn Hebrew (reading and speaking). He made his parents proud...and us, too.

There was an "emcee" who taught us lots of Israeli dances/traditions...lots of fun. We also were treated to bagels and lox at the synagogue after the ceremony, and later a delicious lunch at the Litchfield Inn.

Tennis, Everyone?: Day 48

After watching Joe in his first EHS tennis match (one in which Joe and Dave beat the #1 THS doubles team!)Jim decided he needed a new tennis racquet....it is gorgeous and light as a feather! He is looking forward to using it when we head south in a week!

Sooo tired last night...came home from work...ate a salad and went to bed.....forgot to post! So early this morning..here I am....I'll post again later today.

Dabi's Visiting Tonight!: Day 45

Dabi came over tonight to have dinner, watch Am Idol and she also filled in for Taylor's hairdresser and dried and brushed Taylor's hair. She also helped Taylor fill in all of her final paperwork for her Confirmation next month.
